Senforce Expands Partner Strategy; Program to Support Key Accounts, Create Endpoint Security Opportunity for Partners

Business Wire, Dec 13, 2005

DRAPER, Utah -- Senforce Technologies(R) Inc., a market leader of endpoint security software, today announced an enhanced partner initiative designed to serve a growing and diverse range of global enterprises. As part of this, the company formalized the Senforce Endpoint Security Technology and Channel Partner (TCP) Program. The program's focus is three-fold: (1) endpoint security channel partner development; (2) strategic alliances development; and (3) government alliances development. Ed McGarr, Senforce's vice president of Worldwide Sales is spearheading the channel strategy and will oversee the program.

The Senforce Technology and Channel Partner (TCP) Program provides security-focused partners with opportunities to meet the growing endpoint security needs of enterprise and government customers on a global scale. The program enables partners to participate in the rapid-growth endpoint security market, and gives 'best practice' endpoint security support, design and deployment training to participants. It makes partners aware of the endpoint opportunity, and teaches them how to capitalize on it. The program's key differentiators include:

--Differential pricing when partners register their customer opportunities

--Priority technical support

--Endpoint and wireless security technical training

--Best Practices deployment guides

--Education and access to professional services for joint selling

Increasing demand from Senforce's customers to provide higher levels of endpoint risk mitigation drives these partner program changes.

The Senforce TCP program will enable the partner to embark upon strong relationships with top-tier resellers, systems integrators, security consultancies, and technology partners. Most importantly, the partner will be able to continue to provide the same high-level of service to existing customers while supporting new business opportunities and revenues.

"Today's announcement marks a seminal shift in Senforce's business model, away from a direct sales focus towards a 90% channel model," said McGarr. "Going forward, our channel partners will take the lead in selling to key accounts within our key industries -- government, military, financial services, healthcare, and corporate enterprises. This is a move influenced by customers and growing global demand for our endpoint security solutions."

Because critical corporate data is now primarily stored on workstations and wireless-enabled notebooks, a new set of security solutions and architectures is required. Beyond the network perimeter, today's companies must enforce security on each and every PC. Regulatory compliance rules mandate that information assets be protected, putting new pressures on executives and IT professionals. Senforce responds to these market needs with award-winning endpoint security software that enforces policy compliance automatically on all desktop, mobile and wireless-enabled endpoint computers.

Bob Ruts, Senior Consultant and Partner for DaVinsi, a provider of outsourced workspace management and IT security services with operations in Europe, said, "Senforce TCP means both new opportunities for DaVinsi, and bottom-line security benefits for our enterprise customers. It will enhance DaVinsi's value-add position in delivering endpoint PC security and network access control solutions to our customers."
