JACKSONVILLE, Fla. -- Resort Clubs International, Inc. (Pink Sheets:RTCI) has announced that they have entered into a strategic marketing alliance with Sol Melia Vacation Club, one of the largest vacation club operators in the world, and their five-star resort Melia Caribe Tropical.
Resort Clubs International, Inc. offers members of its Ambassador Club program access to national and international resorts and hotels. In addition, the Ambassador Club offers its members three valuable travel service benefits: a national and international reciprocal program with world-class golf courses, member rates at top hotels and exclusive resorts around the world and a concierge service to coordinate the itineraries for the members.
The marketing agreement with Sol Melia provides members of RTCI's Ambassador Club program with special member rates at the Melia Caribe Tropical, a five-star resort in Punta Cana, Dominican Republic as well as access to the 18 hole Cocotal Golf & Country Club that is affiliated with the Sol Melia resort.
Melia Caribe Tropical sets the standard for family oriented, all-inclusive hotels in Punta Cana. Over the last several years, Punta Cana has become the new beach lover's capital of the Caribbean - with a spectacular beach, an assortment of great restaurants, an exciting casino and a world-class golf course, it offers Ambassador Club members a great vacation destination.
Sol Melia Vacation Club, in conjunction with its parent company Sol Melia Hotels & Resorts, is a unique vacation membership club that offers its members access to luxurious accommodations at over 350 hotels and resorts in more than 30 countries.
Bob Johnson, President and CEO of Resort Clubs International, Inc. had this comment: "With the introduction of our new Ambassador Club travel membership program, we wanted to find an international resort partner that could offer our members a five-star experience. Our association with Sol Melia and the Melia Caribe Tropical fulfills that objective and provides us with the opportunity to establish additional five-star destinations in the future."
