ToolsGroup Awarded ''Powered by SAP NetWeaver®'' Certification for its DPM Inventory Optimization Solution

BOSTON -- Company Achieves High Level of Integration with the SAP NetWeaver Platform
ToolsGroup, the leading supplier of distribution-focused inventory optimization solutions, today announced that the company has now completed certification for its DPM 5.1.0 product, earning the "Powered by SAP NetWeaver(R)" designation for its integration via the SAP NetWeaver platform.
"Powered by SAP NetWeaver" eases access to data contained in SAP(R) solutions and other internal and external sources. With "Powered by SAP NetWeaver" certification, DPM users can further leverage their current investments in SAP solutions and use DPM's powerful analytics and planning capabilities to conduct inventory and service level optimization.

Using DPM, executives can plan their customer service policies to very high fill rates and then optimize the global inventory mix across the supply chain to meet them. In addition, the same software can be used for both strategic studies and for operations, ensuring that executives will see the same results in practice as they do in their plans.

After earning "Certified for SAP NetWeaver" status for DPM via ToolsGroup's Content Inventory Optimization 30.1 provided for the SAP NetWeaver Exchange Infrustructure (SAP NetWeaver XI), DPM is now also designated as "Powered by SAP NetWeaver" through its integration with the SAP NetWeaver Portal. The newest certified integration is made possible by ToolsGroup's Business Package for Inventory Optimization 60.1.
