Business Wire, Dec 21, 2005
NEW YORK -- Savvysoft, a derivatives and risk management software company, announced today it's won top rankings in every analytics category of the prestigious Risk Magazine 2005 Customer Satisfaction Survey, including an unprecedented four #1 rankings. No other firm had more #1 rankings in a category.
Savvysoft ranked #1 in Credit, #1 in Cross Asset, #1 in Interest Rates and #1 in Structured Products. Savvysoft also ranked #3 in FX, #3 in Commodities, and #5 in Equities, for a clean sweep of top rankings in every analytics category. Outside analytics, Savvysoft finished #2 in the hotly contested Market Risk category, as well as #2 in Credit Risk - Trading and Banking. Among all software providers, including those with products up to fifty times more expensive, Savvysoft earned an impressive #4 overall ranking, up two spots from 2004. Savvysoft was the only analytics vendor to finish in the top 20 overall.
"Every year, the competition gets tougher," said Rich Tanenbaum, Savvysoft founder and CEO. "We're especially happy we've extended our lead in so many areas."
Savvysoft's high marks in Market Risk, as well as Credit Risk -- Trading and Banking, underscores Savvysoft's push into trading systems. "This justifies our investment in cutting-edge portfolio management systems. Savvysoft's STARS Trading and Risk system is now being chosen by many leading hedge funds, banks, money managers, investment advisors, and insurance companies," said Tanenbaum.
Risk's survey extends Savvysoft's winning streak. Earlier this year, the firm garnered several top rankings from Euromoney magazine, including five #1 rankings and five #2 rankings in Portfolio Management, Operations, and Trading and Banking.
