NetQoS Awarded General Services Administration Contract for Network Performance Management Products; Procurement of End-to-End Performance Monitoring, Traffic Analysis, and Device Performance Management Modules Streamlined for Government Agencies
Business Wire, Dec 5, 2005
AUSTIN, Texas -- The United States General Services Administration (GSA) has awarded a GSA Information Technology Schedule Contract (number GS-35F-0857R) to NetQoS for selling its suite of network performance management products to federal entities.
The GSA contract will enable government agencies to more easily purchase the NetQoS Performance Center and product modules for improving the performance of applications running on government agencies' network infrastructures. The NetQoS Performance Center is a centralized Web-based management console that integrates end-to-end performance, network traffic analysis, and device performance data to help organizations with troubleshooting, capacity planning, and service level monitoring. The NetQoS Performance Center suite of modules include:
--NetQoS SuperAgent(R) for end-to-end performance monitoring
--NetQoS ReporterAnalyzer(TM) for Cisco IOS(R) NetFlow and NAM traffic reporting and analysis
--NetQoS NetVoyant(R) for device and infrastructure performance management
"NetQoS products enable government agency IT organizations to manage the increasing complexity of network infrastructures, especially in the face of mandates to improve government operations and modernize agency networks," said Joel Trammell, NetQoS CEO. "NetQoS helps government entities focus on true performance issues, not just device availability, to ensure that critical applications are being delivered optimally across networks."
NetQoS products are proven to scale to the largest global networks, giving visibility into end-user performance and network traffic at all locations while pinpointing the issues network professionals must address to continually improve network performance. The Departments of Defense, Health and Human Services, Agriculture, and Interior, as well as the Army, Air Force, Marine Corp, NASA, U.S. Postal Service, Social Security Administration, and numerous state National Guard Bureaus are among the government entities that have purchased NetQoS products.
