Socket Communications Teams with Logiciel to Deliver Advanced Mobile Sales Order System for Wholesale; Combined Solution Enables European Soaps, Ltd. to Reduce Data Entry Errors and Improve Sales Productivity

(Nasdaq:SCKT), an innovative provider of mobile productivity products, and Logiciel, a provider of mobile sales order software for wholesale, today announced the availability of a multi-function sales-order bar code scanning solution to provide small to medium-sized wholesalers with better access to real-time inventory information and improve ordering capabilities at tradeshows.

European Soaps, a wholesale distributor of imported products from Europe, implemented the combined solution to quickly and accurately update new customer and order information in its accounting system, saving data entry time and improving order accuracy.

"Prior to implementing the combined solution, obtaining sales data from the portable units was difficult and the data was often a mess. The combined solution incorporates Socket's bar code scanning technology with Logiciel's TradeShow(32) Mobile Sales Order software. Socket's scanners attach directly to the PDA, and read bar codes linked to key product, inventory or customer information, which is translated by Logiciel's TradeShow(32) into sales order, inventory count, and other business processes. The solution enables multiple users to work with multiple PDAs in the booth simultaneously. Information is wirelessly uploaded to a host laptop with no docking required.
