Business Wire, Feb 10, 2005
SANTA ROSA, Calif. -- The Adams Beverage Group, producer of Beverage Dynamics, Cheers and StateWays magazines, has awarded Barefoot Cellars Winery the Fast Track Growth Brand Award for sales in 2004. In order to qualify for this award, a brand must be at least 5 years old, exceeded sales of 100,000 nine liter cases, and have double digit growth in each of the previous 4 years. Barefoot not only met, but exceeded all of the qualifications and is on track to do even better in 2005.

Over the past 5 years, Barefoot has carefully crafted a highly effective network of regional sales managers, who together with strategically selected partners and an unrelenting commitment to customer service, have helped deliver consistent, double digit sales growth. The winery has been growing at an average rate of 20% for past 5 years, culminating in 2004 when they sold over 590,000 cases, showing a growth of 58% over 2003.
The Barefoot Cellars commitment to quality, consistency and customer service is one of the major keys to their success. "Customers need to feel secure in their decision to purchase a bottle of wine. We want them to feel that when they see the Barefoot label, they know they are purchasing a quality product for a great price," stated Jennifer Wall, Barefoot Cellars Winemaker.
As they look forward, Barefoot has made strategic moves in its distributor network that will easily allow them to surmount the goal of 750,000 cases by the end of 2005.
