Infravio X-Registry Earns ''Certified for SAP NetWeaver'' Designation
Business Wire, Feb 14, 2005
CUPERTINO, Calif. -- Championing contract-driven Web Services Management and SOA governance, Infravio, Inc. today announced its business services registry, Infravio X-registry(TM), has earned the "Certified for SAP NetWeaver(TM)" designation.
The "Certified for SAP NetWeaver" designation is awarded to products that feature integration with the SAP NetWeaver platform -- in Infravio's case via an SAP(R) Enterprise Portal iView for SAP Enterprise Portal 5.0.
"Our SAP integration certification reflects a common design goal shared by SAP NetWeaver and X-registry -- to enable and manage change," said Srinivas Balasubramanian, founder and CEO at Infravio. "We also share a common architectural world view, highlighting services-based, enterprise-scale business solutions offering the increased levels of adaptability, flexibility, and openness that reduce total cost of ownership. Infravio, with this latest SAP certification, delivers on that world view for our customers."
X-registry addresses the needs of all business and IT players in a Service-Oriented Architecture (SOA) -- from publishing, documenting and cataloging services for providers to browsing, searching and requesting authorization for use by consumers. X-registry provides the controls, approvals, and tracking functions needed to fully govern the Web Services and SOA assets. It also generates an expanded view of the scope, roles, and necessary information to sustain and manage them.
