William Mikaitis of Orland Park, Ill., who shelled out $45,333 for Rancic's customized 2005 Chrysler Crossfire Roadster convertible -- sold in the "Advanta/Bill Rancic Dream Car Auction" which ran online at Overstock.com(R) (NASDAQ:OSTK). All proceeds go to the Dr. Edward T. Rancic Memorial Fund for Cancer Research at the National Institutes of Health, which Rancic established in memory of his father.
