Sirius Adds IBM Veteran to Sales Management Team; IBM's Largest eServer Reseller Expands IBM Expertise With IBM Veteran of 31 Years
Business Wire, Feb 2, 2005
DENVER -- Thomas Neville, senior vice president of sales at Sirius, announced that following a distinguished professional career with IBM(R), Armen Maranjian has assumed the role of Sirius Area Sales Manager as of Feb. 1, 2005, and will be responsible for managing sales throughout Colorado, Kansas, Wyoming, Arkansas and Missouri.
Maranjian told IBM peers, "Even though I am leaving IBM, I am not going very far." With a comprehensive background at IBM Canada and IBM U.S., Maranjian brings extensive experience with IBM including field management and headquarters positions, knowledge of IBM products and close relationships with IBM ISV partners. He lives in Parker, Colo., and will work out of Sirius' Englewood, Colo., office.
"At one point in his career, Mr. Maranjian was assigned to Sirius as an account executive, so he has a firm understanding of the culture, strategy and strengths at Sirius," said Neville. "His sustained success in working with Sirius, in addition to a very successful career with IBM, convinced me he was the right person for this position. Maranjian will undoubtedly bring the benefit of his tremendous industry knowledge and experience to Sirius, IBM and most importantly to our customers in that region."
"To me, Sirius is a known entity," said Maranjian. "They are leaders in the IBM Business Partner community, they represent the entire IBM product line, and they are committed to the success of their customers. I'm thrilled to be a part of their team."
Maranjian plans to use his abilities and relationships to help companies in this region understand the benefits of using IBM technology provided by Sirius.
