InfoSec Institute and Core Security Technologies Work Together to Provide an Improved Ethical Hacking Course
Business Wire, Feb 22, 2005
OAK PARK, Ill. & BOSTON -- InfoSec Institute's (http://www.infosecinstitute.com) Ethical Hacking Course http://www.infosecinstitute.com/courses/ethical_hacking_training.html now features exclusive training for using the Core Impact penetration testing product.
InfoSec Institute, the world's premier ethical hacking training company announces that upcoming course will feature the Core Impact penetration testing product. This will allow students to use a cutting edge ethical hacking tool and to learn how to orchestrate an automated penetration test in a controlled lab environment. Impact's vast number of exploit modules will enable InfoSec Institute students to hack into Solaris, Windows, Mac OS X, and Linux operating systems.
InfoSec Institute will also be providing, through this partnership, a Single Engagement License (SEL) to all students in Ethical Hacking courses through July 31, 2005. The SEL version of Impact is used to test up to 8 IP addresses during a single ethical hacking engagement. This will be in addition to standard InfoSec Institute Enterprise Hacking Tools Suite (http://www.infosecinstitute.com/hacking_tools_cd.html) which is included with every student registration.
The new ethical hacking course http://www.infosecinstitute.com/courses/ethical_hacking_training.html content will include the identification and exploitation of Microsoft Internet Explorer (IE) vulnerabilities, which have resulted in numerous system compromises in the past year. Plans for the future include the creation of custom buffer overflow exploits within the Core Impact framework for the Advanced Ethical Hacking course.
