Dr. Weigend is an expert in data mining and consumer behavior. As the former Chief Scientist of Amazon.com, he developed predictive models for recommendations and cross-selling.

Prior, he was an associate professor of Information Systems at New York University's Stern School of Business and an assistant professor at the University of Colorado at Boulder.
