Secure Computing's SmartFilter Wins SC Magazine Global Award for Best Content Filtering Solution

This year's award for filtering from information security publication SC Magazine was especially coveted because of the emerging importance of security features in Web filtering solutions to address spyware, phishing, malware, and other threats. Additionally, the Sidewinder G2(R) Security Appliance was honored as a finalist in the category of Best Firewall Solution; and SafeWord(R) PremierAccess(TM) was a finalist in the category of Best Smart Card Solution.
The awards highlight the information security industry's best products and services and acknowledge excellence for corporate achievement. The SC Magazine Global Awards saw a higher than ever level of activity during the 2005 voting period in November and December with more than 56,000 visits to the site.
