As a response to the immense growth of career opportunities in the culinary and hospitality fields, the American Culinary Federation Educational Institute Accrediting Commission developed this accreditation credential to monitor culinary programs for quality performance ensuring that industry standards are met within the educational environment. Texas Culinary Academy's Associate of Applied Sciences Degree in Le Cordon Bleu Culinary Arts is proud to now be accredited by the American Culinary Federation Educational Institute Accrediting Commission.
The culinary program offered at Texas Culinary Academy has been judged against published industry standards. After completion of a self-evaluation and report of their findings, the American Culinary Federation Educational Institute Accrediting Commission authorized a team to visit the school's campus to investigate the curriculum, instructors, policies and procedures of the school in September of 2004. After the Commission deliberated, Texas Culinary Academy was granted accreditation by the American Culinary Federation Educational Institute Accrediting Commission.
