Beltran, Delgado, Lowe and Martinez to Film Public Service Announcement Promoting MLB Partnership with Boys & Girls Clubs Of America

        Derek Lowe, Los Angeles Dodgers
        Pedro Martinez, New York Mets

WHAT:   Major League Baseball players will film commercial spots as
        part of the 2005 Major League Baseball Charities and Boys &
        Girls Clubs of America (B&GCA) PSA campaign.

        The 2005 PSA campaign is designed to increase the awareness of
        the partnership between MLB and B&GCA - the Official Charity
        of Major League Baseball.  It also will reinforce the message
        that Major League Baseball and its players help create
        positive opportunities for youth through programs such as
        Reviving Baseball in Inner Cities (RBI) and Rookie League.

        As many as ten players will film spots for the 2005 campaign.
        Players were selected for the campaign based on both their
        on-field achievements and commitment to community service
        activities.

        Major League Baseball Productions, the Emmy(R) award-winning
        television and video production division of Major League
        Baseball, is producing the campaign.

WHEN:   Thursday, February 24, 2005
        Beltran & Martinez Shoot - 1:30 PM
        Delgado Shoot - 2:00PM
        Lowe Shoot - 3:30 PM

MEDIA OPPORTUNITIES:
        Media interview and photo ops will include: (1) Jacqueline
        Parkes, MLB Senior Vice President, Advertising and Marketing;
        (2) Tom Brasuell, MLB Vice President, Community Affairs;
        (3) Local Boys & Girls Clubs youth PSA participants.

   Player availability will be based on individual schedules and the
   time required for each shoot.

       Media must display ID from their media outlet to be admitted to
       the shoot location.
