Rayovac Corporation (NYSE:ROV): The provider of consumer products announced of its intent to change its Corporate name to Spectrum Brands: symbol /SPC/ subject to shareholder approval in April '05. /ROV/ has evolved from a US based battery manufacturer to a global consumer products Co. all due to acquisition of United Industries.
Hydril (NASDAQ:HYDL): The maker of drilling gear for the oil industry enjoyed a rewarding year in '04. Growth in drilling for oil around the world was achieved, without causing pressure to capacity. Drilling contractors of higher day-rates and longer-term contracts for deep water rigs on the rise. Net income of $1.98 per share for '04 a record.
