Natural Health Trends Corp. Appoints William Wong as Senior VP - Greater China and Southeast Asia

DALLAS, Texas -- Natural Health Trends Corp. (OTC BB: NHLC), an international direct-selling company, today announced it has appointed William Wong as Senior VP - Greater China and Southeast Asia of its Lexxus division.
Mr. Wong, a Singaporean citizen, 35, comes to Natural Health Trends Corp. from his own direct-selling consulting firm, Asia Direct Selling, which assists international companies in their expansion into Asia.
Prior to founding ADS Consulting, Mr. Wong was the country manager and director for Amway in Singapore from January 2002 to April 2004. He orchestrated Amway's entry into the Singaporean market in April 2002, recruited staff and grew the business to revenues of $17.5 million per year. He also introduced the new concept of Customer Relationship Management and oversaw its development for Amway in the countries of Malaysia, Singapore and Brunei.
Before joining Amway, Mr. Wong spent almost two years as managing director of 2skymall.com, an e-commerce company that managed loyalty programs for companies such as AIA, AIG and Lucent Technologies.
Mr. Wong was an East Asian marketing specialist for Exxon/Mobil for three and a half years. His experience includes card marketing and sales for programs like Mobil Easipay and Speedpass, advertising and the loyalty program for both Esso and Mobil in Singapore.
He began his career as a mechanical engineer with Hewlett-Packard following his studies at Nanyan Technological University, where he was awarded a Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering (Hons). He has since earned a graduate diploma in marketing from the Marketing Institute of Singapore and an MBA from the University of Louisville.
