IDS Scheer Focuses on Alignment of Business Processes at CeBIT 2005; Company Previews New Versions of the ARIS Process Platform, ARIS for SAP NetWeaver, and ARIS Solutions for SOx Compliance and Corporate Performance Management
Business Wire, Feb 8, 2005
BERWYN, Pa. -- IDS Scheer, the leading provider of business process excellence services and tools, today announced that the company is making an all out product offensive at the upcoming CeBIT 2005 conference (Hannover, 10-16 March 2005), showcasing its initiatives for the emerging SAP NetWeaver(TM) platform, as well as demonstrating its value in compliance and corporate performance management.
"CeBIT is the premier international forum to debut our newest business process management solutions," said Dr. Mathias Kirchmer, CEO of IDS Scheer in North America. "Corporate accountability and performance metrics are top of mind for CEOs of multi-national organizations. These latest releases fully optimize our award-winning ARIS Business Process Platform so that C-level executives can be armed with industry-leading technology tools to meet their challenging compliance and performance objectives."
New functionality will include ARIS Business Architect, a Java-based solution that offers an ARIS Business Designer with basic modeling for those new to process management. In addition, the new version will integrate ARIS Business Publisher that makes all data available via flexible, role-based access.
"The web-based and intuitive user interface of the next generation of the ARIS Process Platform will enable customers to set up individual enterprise architectures, and offer seamless configuration with their IT infrastructure so that business processes can be structured and published more quickly," added Dr. Kirchmer.
Other IDS Scheer solutions demonstrated at CeBIT include:
1. ARIS for SAP NetWeaver - the first BPM tool to be embedded in SAP
NetWeaver now offers improved modeling options and ensures optimum
exchange between the commercial view and the enterprise contents
to be implemented. ARIS for SAP NetWeaver will also be offered
with the web functionality offered in the new version of ARIS.
2. ARIS Process Performance Manager (ARIS PPM 4.0) - unlike any other
corporate performance management tool on the market, this new
version of ARIS PPM will enable customers to analyze and visualize
data in running processes. An organization analysis component
automatically analyzes the interactions between organizational
units so that the cooperation between the units can be mapped on
the basis of the current state. CIOs will also welcome the
enhanced Process Performance Cockpit, which presents all the
company's important process data at a glance.
3. ARIS SOx Audit Manager - this compliance management tool guarantees
the reliability of a company's internal control systems while
simplifying and ensuring compliance with a wide range of
regulations -- Sarbanes-Oxley Act, Basel II or a corporate
governance codex. This comprehensive solution suite for Compliance
Management offers a preventative system for avoiding negative
impact on reputation and assets that also meet the requirements of
external auditors.
