Unisys to Leverage GlobeRanger iMotion Platform in RFID-Based Solutions

BLUE BELL, Pa. -- Unisys Corporation (NYSE:UIS) today announced an alliance with GlobeRanger, in which Unisys will incorporate GlobeRanger's iMotion(TM) Edgeware(TM) platform as a component in its Global Visible Commerce solutions.

The Unisys solutions integrate emerging technologies -- such as radio frequency identification (RFID) tags -- with a client's existing business processes to drive more efficient and secure supply chains. At the core of the new solutions is Unisys unique 3D Visible Enterprise (3D-VE) methodology, which gives companies a holistic view into the cause-and-effect relationships between shifts in technology, business processes and strategy.
