Trustgenix Appoints Dr. Robert Aarts Director of Engineering; Former Nokia Technologist and Leading Contributor to Liberty Alliance Specs Joins Federated Identity Management Vendor

SANTA CLARA, Calif. -- Trustgenix, Inc., the leader in federated identity management software, today announced the appointment of Dr. Robert Aarts as Director of Engineering. Dr. Aarts brings deep software industry experience in federated identity management and web services to Trustgenix. Most recently, he was a chief architect for technology platforms at mobile system vendor Nokia where he played a leading role in developing the Liberty Alliance (http://www.projectliberty.org) Identity Web Services Framework (ID-WSF) specifications.

Dr. Aarts is a globally recognized authority in the areas of federated identity management and web services for mobile and enterprise networks. He assumes responsibility for leading the engineering and development of all Trustgenix products.

Dr. Aarts joins Trustgenix from Nokia, one of the world's leading mobile systems vendors, where he was a chief architect for technology platforms and played a key role in defining and planning the company's software strategy. At Nokia, he designed a totally new software architecture to support easy development of mobile carrier and consumer services. Dr. Aarts also served as Nokia's primary technical representative in the Liberty Alliance Project and was a lead contributor in the development of the ID-WSF specifications. Prior to Nokia, Dr. Aarts was Group Manager at VTT Technical Research Centre, which develops new technologies for private companies, institutions and the public sector in Finland. Dr. Aarts holds a Ph.D. in biotechnology from the Helsinki University of Technology.
