Caucho Technology Becomes a Sun Microsystems J2EE Licensee; Caucho's Resin Application Server to Become J2EE Compatible

LA JOLLA, Calif. -- Caucho Technology, Inc. (www.caucho.com) and Sun Microsystems (www.sun.com) today announced that Caucho Technology has become a J2EE licensee. Java 2 Platform, Enterprise Edition (J2EE) defines the standard for developing component-based multitier enterprise applications.
Caucho Technology produces Resin, a leading Java application server used by over 3,500 corporate, education and government clients. With customers that have large and demanding sites including CNet, EBay's half.com, Javalobby.org and the American Red Cross, Resin is an elegantly designed program that delivers fast and stable performance under heavy load situations.
