Synomos Releases Free Evaluation Copy of Align 2.0 Policy Development Environment

MONTREAL -- Powerful Modeling and Analysis Software For Data Policy Compliance
Synomos Inc., makers of the Align Data-Policy Provisioning Suite, today released a free six month evaluation copy of its Align 2.0 Policy Development Environment (PDE). Align 2.0 PDE desktop edition enables organizations to quickly and easily develop digital policy models, classify enterprise data assets, run "what if" scenarios, and perform gap analysis for cost-effective compliance. It is available as a download at http://www.synomos.com.

Synomos is currently engaged in pilot programs with customers for Align 3.0 Data-Policy Provisioning Suite, which will be available in 2005. Align 3.0 represents the company's next generation offering for complete data policy management.
This offering of Align 2.0 PDE includes samples that demonstrate how to develop policy models from for specific industries and regulations such as: financial services, pharmaceuticals, Gramm-Leach-Bliley, the Health Insurance Portability and Accountability Act, and the EU Directive. These samples, combined with the online tutorial, allow users to rapidly become proficient at developing digital policy models. All policy models developed with Align 2.0 PDE will be compatible with Align 3.0, enabling organizations to deploy their policies enterprise-wide in 2005.
System Requirements for Align 2.0 PDE:
- Pentium IV 1GHz or faster
- Windows 2000 Professional or Windows XP
- 256 MB of available RAM or more
