Unisource Worldwide, Inc. Donates to Earthquake and Tsunami Relief Efforts

NORCROSS, Ga. -- Unisource Worldwide, Inc., one of the leading distributors of paper, packaging and facility supplies in North America, announced today that the company will donate $50,000 to assist and aid the victims of Southeast Asia's tragic earthquake and devastating tsunamis.
"On behalf of all Unisource employees I would like to express our sympathy. Our hearts go out to the victims and families affected by this terrible tragedy," said Al Dragone, CEO of Unisource. "President George Bush has asked the private sector to participate in relief efforts and I'm proud that Unisource and its employees are doing our part to help out others in need."
Unisource is also providing its employees a list of international disaster relief organizations available through USA Freedom Corps, as announced by President Bush. Former President George H.W. Bush and former President Bill Clinton are supporting the USA Freedom Corps program. Employees can donate to the organization of their choice. The company will donate its gift to the American Red Cross International Response Fund.
