Federal-Mogul Earns 2004 DaimlerChrysler Global Supplier Award for Powertrain

SOUTHFIELD, Mich. -- Federal-Mogul Corporation (OTCBB:FDMLQ) on January 12 received the 2004 DaimlerChrysler Global Supplier Award for the Powertrain category. The prestigious and highly selective Global Supplier Award is designed to recognize global supplier contributions and excellence in supplier performance. Federal-Mogul Chairman and Interim Chief Executive Officer Steve Miller accepted the award at the second annual Global Supplier Awards Program at the Detroit Firehouse in Michigan.

Suppliers with a business volume of more than $1.35 million with the Chrysler Group as well as the Commercial Vehicles Division or Mercedes-Benz Car Group were also eligible. Federal-Mogul was selected for this award based on its benchmark performance in quality, system cost, technology and supply during 2004.
