MARINA DEL REY, Calif. -- Users Can Download Individual Episodes or the Entire Season

CinemaNow Inc., the leader in video-on-demand for broadband, today announced it has entered into an agreement with Twentieth Century Fox Film Corp. to offer exclusively the entire unscripted series "Playing It Straight" for download via the CinemaNow Web site, www.cinemanow.com, and through the show's Web site, www.fox.com/playingitstraight. In addition to the episodes of the series that aired, CinemaNow will also make available for customers the final 5 episodes which were never aired during the show's initial broadcast on FOX. This is the first time unaired episodes of a network primetime unscripted series have been offered for download.

As part of the agreement, CinemaNow will allow customers to rent and download the show on an episode-by-episode basis or pay a discounted fee for the entire season which includes all 8 episodes. Customers will have 48 hours to watch each rented episode or 30 days if they choose the season package.

"As the DVD market has proven, television content can find new life and new revenue streams through ancillary forms of distribution," said Bruce Eisen, executive vice president of CinemaNow. "What CinemaNow provides, even beyond the traditional DVD release, is an opportunity for smaller, niche shows to reach their target audiences while also giving users the flexibility of per-episode rentals without having to pay for an entire box set."

"Fox Broadcasting Company is always seeking innovative ways to connect with its passionate and loyal viewer base," said Peter Levinsohn, president, Digital Media & Pay TV, Twentieth Century Fox. "We are thrilled to work with Fox Broadcasting Company and CinemaNow to offer fans of 'Playing It Straight' the opportunity to view these 'lost episodes' in the developing digital marketplace."

"Playing It Straight" follows Jackie, a single college student from Appleton, Wisconsin, who is searching for love amongst fourteen male suitors at a ranch in Nevada. The one twist is that not all the men are straight, and the rules of the show are simple: if a straight man is chosen, the couple splits the $1 million in prize money. However, if a gay man is chosen by fooling Jackie into thinking he is straight, he will walk away with all of the money.
