Business Wire, Jan 19, 2005
CHICAGO -- HighBeam(TM) Research, Inc., operator of an online research engine for individuals (www.highbeam.com) that fills the gap between free search engines and high-end information services, today announced that the Software and Information Industry Association (SIIA) has named the HighBeam Research Engine as one of five 2005 Codie Awards finalists in both the "Best Content Aggregation Service" and "Best Online Consumer Information Service" categories.
Patrick Spain, founder, chairman and CEO of HighBeam Research, said, "Our service is changing the way individual researchers find, organize and share information. We're very pleased that the Codie Awards judges have recognized the value of HighBeam Research."
Ken Wasch, SIIA president, said, "The 20th annual Codie Awards continue the tradition of honoring the best of the software, content and education technology industries.
