The Perm is Back! Laguna Beach Salon Offers the All-New Protein-Based Digital Perm
Business Wire, Jan 24, 2005
NEWPORT BEACH, Calif. -- Studio DC, a Laguna Beach, Calif. hair salon, today announced the arrival of the revolutionary, new digital perm. Studio DC is the first American salon to offer this amazing technology.
Stylist Carisa Douglas traveled to Korea for the training and equipment required to create this amazing perm for her clients. The digital, protein-based perm uses ceramic rollers and keratin to create its perfect curls and rejuvenate all hair types. The process takes about three hours, but the curls last for several months before softly fading into waves. The perm begins at $400.
"The new perm is completely unlike the perms in the past. You will not have tight, frizzy curls but the most gorgeous soft, shiny, loose curls. It looks natural, everyone loves it," said Douglas, hair stylist, Studio DC. "This process is very similar to the Japanese Straightening treatment; it adds protein and keratin to your hair and looks so natural. I am so proud to offer this service to my clients."
The perm is recommended for all hair types. Those looking to maintain a straight hairstyle can also benefit from the perm. It blows out perfectly, adding fullness and body to fine hair or making natural curls more manageable.
