MIAMI -- A leading authority on U.S. Latinos, Roberto Suro, will discuss changes in Hispanic demographics at the Innovations in Hispanic Marketing conference, April 6-7 in Miami. Suro is director of the Pew Hispanic Center.

Suro compiles the organization's 2004 National Survey of Latinos and other reports which focus on U.S. Hispanic demographics, economics, education and identity. Conference speakers will also include Guy Garcia, an award-winning journalist and multimedia entrepreneur; and Juan Faura, a veteran Hispanic marketer and president of Cultura LP, a leading Hispanic advertising agency. Faura is the author of "The Whole Enchilada," a book that teaches mainstream marketers how to reach Hispanics. Additional speakers will include Hispanic marketing practitioners from a wide range of industries and companies, including McDonald's, Citigroup, Cosmopolitan, General Mills, AOL, Southwest Airlines, ABC, DeWalt, People en Espanol, Kraft, American Greetings, Virgin, and Yahoo! en Espanol.
