VoIP, Inc. Names Iacovelli as Director of IT Operations and Customer Support Services

VoIP, Inc. (OTCBB:VOII) today announced that it has signed John Iacovelli as Director of IT Operations and Customer Support Services. Iacovelli will assist the company in scaling its IT and Customer Care infrastructure to support significant growth.
"John brings 20 plus years of success in a variety of technical, development and marketing roles with both public and private companies," said Steven Ivester, CEO of VoIP, Inc. Iacovelli was Product Manager at Expert Software where they produced many best selling titles in the retail software market including multi million unit sellers such as Expert Home Design. He joined Clarion Software in 1994 and helped introduce the first Rapid Application Development environment to produce compiled executables for the Windows environment, and later the first 32 bit executables. In subsequent roles with Clarion and its successors, he was responsible for advertising, public relations, direct marketing, developer conferences, finally leaving as Vice President of Marketing. John played key roles in the speech recognition field for such companies as Registry Magic and Foresight Technology, where he managed technical support, designed and implemented reseller training, as well as developed and deployed applications at Fortune 100 companies. Before coming to VoIP, Inc. he spent two years as CIO of a public company in the transportation industry where he oversaw and implemented a network infrastructure spanning nine locations in Florida, and personally developed Windows and Web based software for customers such as the State of Florida.
