Netli Positioned in the 'Visionary' Quadrant in Latest Application Delivery Magic Quadrant
Business Wire, Jan 31, 2005
PALO ALTO, Calif. -- Netli, the global leader in Application Delivery Network (ADN) services, today announced that Netli is positioned in the "Visionary" Quadrant of Gartner's "Magic Quadrant for Web-enabled Application Delivery, 2H04" released January 18, 2005 authored by Gartner Vice President and Research Director Mark Fabbi.
The Web-Enabled Application Delivery Magic Quadrant for 2H04 evaluates 11 vendors against Gartner-defined criteria for a marketplace based on their "completeness of vision," and "ability to execute." Netli was the one Service Provider to be included in the report. According to the report, "A strong placement in this Magic Quadrant demands solutions address the key requirements of enterprise application delivery in 2004 and beyond." According to Gartner, vendors listed in the visionary quadrant have a clear vision of market direction and are focused on preparing for that, but they can still improve in terms of optimizing service delivery.
"We are pleased to be included in the Web-enabled Application Delivery Magic Quadrant," said Gary Messiana, president and CEO of Netli. "We feel Gartner's assessment, added to Netli's list of industry-leading customers in manufacturing, financial services, technology, consumer products and information services and our 4x year-over-year growth, confirms our market momentum and the global enterprise's desire for a no hassle, quick-to-deploy managed optimization service for critical business applications. Whether an enterprise initiative is to expand market reach, outsource, increase customer satisfaction, ensure application adoption or data center consolidation, Netli provides the only solution that delivers LAN-like performance and availability of Web applications without any capital cost," Messiana stated.
Netli's patented technology and services include NetLightning(TM), NetliContinuity(TM) and NetliView(TM). NetLightning, the company's flagship offering, delivers a business-quality Internet with global sub-second response times, high availability and secure access to Web applications. NetliContinuity transparently enables failover, backup or regulatory compliance for organizations with two or more data centers without having to install software or hardware devices. Finally, NetliView is a comprehensive measurement and reporting service, which enables organizations to continuously monitor the health of their business-critical, Netli-optimized applications.
