Homeland Security Company Gabriel Technologies Corp's Locking System First in Industry Backed by Adriatic and Lloyd's of London
Business Wire, Jan 6, 2005
OMAHA, Neb. -- Gabriel Technologies Corporation (OTCBB:GWLK) is the first transportation security company to receive underwriting from two of the world's leading insurance providers, Adriatic Insurance Company and Lloyd's of London.
A trucking cargo insurance policy, underwritten by Lloyd's and provided by Adriatic, offers truck operators up to $25,000 in coverage in case of loss due to the failure of Gabriel's WAR-LOK TSK-50 physical cargo security system. The TSK-50 is a complete tractor/trailer security solution that includes the TL-10 barrier box, TKP-10 king pin lock, TAB-10 air brake lock, TGH-10 glad hand lock and the TPL pad lock from the t-Series line of WAR-LOK cargo locks.
Adriatic and Lloyd's are also providing a physical damage policy that pays up to $10,000 of coverage if a tractor is stolen and compromised due to the failure of the TAB-10 air brake lock.
"We recognize the need for increased security within the trucking industry and believe the WAR-LOK t-Series security products are the best solution on the market," said Mark Fulkerson, an independent agent for Adriatic Insurance and President of Cross Country Insurance. "The WAR-LOK system will significantly decrease the incidents of cargo theft and tampering, effectively lowering the insurance risk."
Designed in conjunction with industry security leaders, the WAR-LOK t-Series provides the highest level of deterrence to cargo and full container thefts or tampering in the trucking industry. And with 260 million key combinations possible and the ability to master key 20,000 different locks, WAR-LOK is the most effective-and convenient-lock yet.
"Gabriel Technologies is excited to partner with Lloyd's of London and Adriatic Insurance to provide additional insurance protection for our current and future customers," said Keith Feilmeier, President/CEO of Gabriel Technologies Corp. "Not only does this partnership demonstrate the high quality of our WAR-LOK product line, but more importantly, it underscores the increasingly urgent need for complete cargo protection in the trucking industry today. With the addition of the Adriatic/Lloyd's insurance package to our WAR-LOK t-Series, we are able to offer a complete physical security program that is unmatched in the industry."
