www.PaylessCarRental.com Web Site Generates 26 Percent Increase in Online Reservations in 2004

ST. PETERSBURG, Fla. -- With over 9 million hits and 175,000 unique visitors monthly on average to the PaylessCarRental.com Web site, online reservations increased by 26 percent in 2004 triggering a 24 percent increase in revenue, announced Payless Car Rental System, Inc.
"The overall growth from Web site reservations is attributed to our aggressive effort to build consumer confidence in the Payless brand while maintaining price value in the growing demand to secure reservations online," said Kathy Johnson, vice president of relationship management, Payless Car Rental. In celebration of 2005, Payless Car Rental is offering their annual January special of $20.05 a day on an economy car when reservations are booked online for travel between January 1 - 31, 2005. Or, rent another one of their online staples, a mid-size car for just $30 a day year round.
Through a cooperative agreement with Sixt Rent A Car and Network Car and Truck Rentals, Payless Car Rental now has a presence in 60 countries with over 1,500 locations, and a fleet of 110,000 vehicles.
