Hydril (NASDAQ:HYDL): The provider of premium connection and pressure control products used for oil/gas drilling and production experienced price history as: Last 3 months -7.4%, last 6 months 14.1% and last 12 months 79.5%. Demand high for its premium connection used in drilling environments, where extreme pressure, temperature, corrosion and mechanical stress are encountered.
Itron (NASDAQ:ITRI): The provider of automatic meter reader for gas (AMR) has booked orders in excess of $115 million including two large investor-owned utilities for over 1.2 million AMR modules for installation on gas meters.
Peet's Coffee (NASDAQ:PEET): The specialty coffee roaster and marketer is expanding its coffee chain in the shadow of Starbucks. It prides itself of picky coffee beans of high quality. Orders are shipped within 24 hrs of roasting. Brimmed coffee never stays in the pot longer than 30 min in its stores. Sells its coffee/tea through grocery stores, hotels, restaurants and direct to consumer by mail order and website.
