Bottomline Technologies Announces Licensing Agreement with Oracle; Companies Strengthen Global Technology and Marketing Partnership

PORTSMOUTH, N.H. -- Bottomline Technologies (NASDAQ: EPAY), a leading provider of payments and invoice automation software and services, today announced the company has signed an embedded software license distribution agreement with Oracle.
Under the terms of the agreement, Bottomline has broadened its relationship with Oracle to include OEM and reseller opportunities. The company is embedding Oracle(R) Database 10g in current versions of its payments automation products. This licensing agreement creates new market opportunities for Bottomline to provide its industry leading products to organizations seeking to benefit from the performance, security and reliability of Oracle Database 10g and reduce their total cost of ownership.

Bottomline's solutions have been validated for use with Oracle Database 10g.
