Corporate Technologies Inc. Named An Authorized U.S. Reseller of the BEA WebLogic Enterprise Platform
Business Wire, July 12, 2005
BURLINGTON, Mass. -- Corporate Technologies, Inc., a leading systems integrator, today announced an agreement with BEA Systems (NASDAQ: BEAS) to resell the BEA WebLogic Enterprise Platform(TM), which includes the BEA WebLogic Server(TM), BEA WebLogic Integration(TM), BEA WebLogic Portal(TM), and BEA WebLogic Workshop(TM).
Corporate Technologies' vertical market expertise -- particularly in the areas of life sciences, healthcare and financial services -- as well as its established network in the Northeast, complements BEA's existing sales channel.
Corporate Technologies provides infrastructure hardware, software and professional services in the areas of storage, networks, security, servers and data integration. BEA provides the enterprise software foundation that is designed to help enable customers to benefit from service-oriented architectures through greater re-use of IT assets, faster delivery of value to the business, and greater adaptability to support ongoing change.
As a BEA reseller, Corporate Technologies can offer differentiated solutions to help customers save time and money by leveraging existing and future IT assets and provide access to information while helping to eliminate unnecessary complexity.
"The BEA WebLogic Enterprise Platform is a critical addition to our data integration practice, as it will help enable us to provide our customers with a comprehensive solution encompassing both business intelligence and portals," said Harry Kasparian, president and CEO, Corporate Technologies. "What's more, many of our customers are asking for BEA by name and we are happy to now be able to accommodate their request."
"We're pleased that Corporate Technologies is expanding the reach of their software solutions practice by reselling the BEA WebLogic Enterprise Platform," said Robert Ontiveros, senior vice president of Americas Channels and Alliances for BEA Systems. "Corporate Technologies can complement the BEA application infrastructure software offerings and can help add value to better address the specific business requirements of our mutual customers."
