Softricity Launches Camp Virtualization Webinar Series; Experts Explore How Virtualization Eliminates Application Management Complexities, Fixes Web App Deployment Problems and Enables Secure, Mobile IT Infrastructures
Business Wire, July 12, 2005
BOSTON -- Softricity(R) today announced a new summer webinar series called Camp Virtualization. Featuring industry experts including Doug Brown, president of DABCC Consulting, the webinars will showcase how application virtualization enables on-the-fly application management that delivers dramatic IT cost and time savings, and enterprise-wide productivity enhancements.
The series, which runs from July 13 - August 24, 2005, will detail the benefits inherent in Virtual Application Environments, in which applications are turned into data that can be delivered and run anywhere, independent of the infrastructure, but still be secure, reliable, and simple for IT to handle.
"Many organizations are recognizing application virtualization as a change agent for corporate IT and business alike," said David Greschler, co-founder and VP of marketing for Softricity. "However, because it is an emerging technology, everyone from IT administrators and managers to CIOs and CTOs, wants to learn more about the tangible benefits it can deliver. We hope they'll use our webinar series to get up-to-speed on the unique strategic and tactical advantages made possible through application virtualization."
Softricity's Camp Virtualization Webinar Series includes:
--Wednesday, 7/13, 12 - 1pm - What if Applications Could be Managed Like Data?
--Wednesday, 7/27, 12 - 1pm - The Future of Virtualization: A Roundtable Discussion with Doug Brown & Stuart Schaefer
