Borland to Host ''24 Hours of Delphi®'' Marathon; Interactive Online Radio Broadcast to Include Continuous Interviews, Expert Advice and a Look at Delphi's Future

CUPERTINO, Calif. -- Borland Software Corporation (Nasdaq:BORL), the global leader for Software Delivery Optimization(TM), today announced it will host "24 Hours of Delphi(R)," a live, online radio broadcast on the Borland Development Network (BDN) -- beginning July 13 at 12:00 a.m. PDT. The 24-hour, continuous marathon will feature interviews with and presentations by Borland Delphi R&D engineers, Borland partners, book authors, and community members from around the world. Listeners will be able to ask questions using the BDN chat and audio server.

Borland Delphi is used by hundreds of thousands of developers to deliver business-critical applications by making Windows(R) development tasks faster and easier for programming in the Delphi and C# languages.

To kickoff the broadcast, host David Intersimone, Borland's vice president of developer relations and chief evangelist along with other Borland executives will lay out the Delphi roadmap for the next three years. Through the next 23 hours, listeners will hear valuable tips and techniques from top Delphi experts and participate in discussions on topics including ECO(TM) fundamentals, test driven development and how to successfully migrate applications to Microsoft(R) .NET (see below for a complete broadcast schedule).
