ARAMARK Executive Named One of Black MBA Magazine's ''Top 50 under 50''; Deirdre Drake, Senior Vice President, Human Resources, ARAMARK Healthcare and Education Honored as an Outstanding Business Leader

PHILADELPHIA -- Deirdre Drake, Senior Vice President, Human Resources for ARAMARK (NYSE:RMK) Healthcare and Education, has been named among the top 50 corporate executives under the age of 50 by Black MBA Magazine, the official magazine of the National Black MBA Association.

For its first "Top 50 under 50" list, appearing in the July 2005 issue, Black MBA Magazine selected executives from leading domestic or international corporations, traded publicly or privately on the U.S. equities markets, with gross revenues of at least $500 million.

"The Black MBA Magazine top 50 list spotlights some of the most prominent business leaders in corporate America," said Leon Capers, Jr., President of Black MBA Magazine. "These individuals are applying their remarkable talent and skills to help drive their businesses to even greater levels of success."

Drake oversees the development and implementation of human resources strategy for five corporate lines of business for ARAMARK Healthcare and Education, a division with approximately 70,000 employees nationwide.

In healthcare, ARAMARK provides a wide range of non-clinical support services to more than 1,200 hospitals, long-term care facilities and regional healthcare systems in North America. The company serves nearly 60 percent of the Top 100 Hospitals identified by Modern Healthcare magazine.

In education, ARAMARK provides a wide range of food, facility and other support services to more than 800 school districts, colleges and universities throughout the United States. The company serves more than 80 percent of the Best Colleges and Universities rated by Princeton Review.

Since joining ARAMARK in 1995, Drake has held several positions of increasing responsibility. Prior to her work with ARAMARK, she held human resources positions at several large companies, including Kraft-General Foods, Marathon Oil Company, and MCI Telecommunications. She graduated with a BS in human resources management from Central Michigan University and earned an MBA from St. Joseph's University in Philadelphia. Drake is a lifetime member of the National Black MBA Association, and she is a member of the Women's Foodservice Forum and the Multicultural Foodservice and Hospitality Alliance.
