Innocor Receives the Prestigious 2005 Frost & Sullivan Award for Business Development Strategy Leadership
Business Wire, July 18, 2005
PALO ALTO, Calif. -- Frost & Sullivan's recent analysis, World GbE & 10GbE Test Equipment Markets, selected Innocor for the 2005 Business Development Strategy Leadership Award in recognition of its excellent business development within the 10GbE test equipment arena.
Each year, this Award is presented to the company that has demonstrated excellence in business development within the industry. The Award recognizes the company's ability to best perceive consumer needs, develop products and/or services that meet these needs, successfully introduce products or services to the industry, and identify new market segments to expand the existing customer base. Through a combination of vision, technology, and successful marketing, the Award recipient has demonstrated superior market growth skills.
"Innocor is a ten-year-old company, however its TestPoint product line, which is its flagship product in the 10GbE test arena, and related marketing efforts are fairly recent. Innocor has maintained significant growth in its sales, customer base and technology development. As the company continues to develop its product line and expand its presence overseas, it is expected to experience further growth in this industry," says Frost & Sullivan Program Manager Jessy Cavazos.
Innocor has responded to the industrywide challenge to meet the growing demands of change in technology with a suite of products, which includes its modular, versatile TestPoint platform. The company's key competitive factor is its strength in the feature set for lower layer (layer 1 and layer 2) testing.
"As the industry moves to higher data rates, research indicates that there are transport aspects of the protocol, which have not been traditionally looked at. Innocor has rightly identified this opportunity, which is a key reason for the success the company currently enjoys," notes Ayshwarya Deepak, Research Analyst.
Although the company has been focusing mainly within North America, and added five new North American sales representatives in 2004, it has recently expanded its operations worldwide through the addition of eleven new international distributors.
"Our objective has always been to provide our customers with the most advanced and innovative test solutions to meet their ongoing needs," said Guylain Barlow, Innocor's Director of Product Line Management. "We are honored by this award, which further validates Innocor's technology and market position as a strong business partner."
In March 2005, Innocor launched a portable 10GbE product primarily for mobile and desktop applications to complement its TestPoint family of solutions. The TS-10 is a variant of the TestPoint family, offering a test solution for 10GbE applications. Going forward, Innocor is looking to enhance its Ethernet Over SONET/SDH offering and focus on the synergies with native Ethernet technology.
For these achievements, Innocor is the deserving recipient of the 2005 Frost & Sullivan Award for Business Development Strategy Leadership.
