Virsa Receives ''Powered by SAP NetWeaver'' Certification for Confident Compliance Solution; Cross-platform Compliance Solution Leverages SAP NetWeaver to Monitor and Enforce Key Business Process Controls Across the Enterprise
Business Wire, July 18, 2005
FREMONT, Calif. -- Virsa Systems, Inc., a leader in software solutions for regulatory compliance, today announced that its Confident Compliance software solution has received "Powered by SAP NetWeaver(TM)" certification from SAP AG, the world's leading provider of business software solutions. Confident Compliance is the first and only real-time solution for continuous monitoring and enforcement of process controls in key cross-enterprise business processes, such as procure-to-pay and order-to-cash.
Real-time Compliance for Business Process Controls
Confident Compliance monitors and enforces all process controls -- including application configurations, master data, and transactions -- embedded in business applications throughout an enterprise. In addition to dramatically reducing the cost of complying with Sarbanes-Oxley and other regulatory mandates, Confident Compliance gives organizations significantly better control of their business. Unlike other approaches, which require data to be constantly downloaded from transactional systems and stored externally -- thus exposing data to serious integrity and security risks -- Confident Compliance's unique real-time architecture leaves data safe and secure inside the transactional systems.
Leveraging SAP NetWeaver to Enable Cross-enterprise Compliance at Lowest Cost
To receive the "Powered by SAP NetWeaver" certification, Virsa integrated Confident Compliance into the SAP NetWeaver platform so that customers can benefit from reduced IT investment costs and risks. Confident Compliance now runs on SAP Web Application Server 6.40 and can be integrated with Enterprise Portal 6.0. This allows customers to use single sign-on for Confident Compliance, maintain a consistent look and feel across applications, and centralize user role management. More importantly, customers can leverage their existing hardware and software investment to run Confident Compliance across the enterprise, thereby providing real-time compliance at the lowest total cost.
"We are extremely proud of achieving the 'Powered by SAP NetWeaver' certification for our Confident Compliance solution," said Jasvir Gill, founder and CEO of Virsa Systems. "Our customers can now benefit from the powerful capabilities of the SAP NetWeaver platform to ensure real-time compliance of their cross-enterprise business processes, resulting in greater business control and reduced cost of compliance."
Latest Certification Extends Virsa's "Powered by SAP NetWeaver" Solutions
The "Powered by SAP NetWeaver" certification of Confident Compliance is the third such certification that Virsa Systems has achieved, preceded by certifications of Virsa's Compliance Calibrator and Access Enforcer solutions. Compliance Calibrator is the only real-time solution for monitoring and enforcing user access and authorization controls across the enterprise, and is sold exclusively by SAP under the co-brand SAP Compliance Calibrator by Virsa Systems. Access Enforcer provides an automated solution for compliant user provisioning. Using customizable, web-based workflow, Access Enforcer pulls information from multiple sources, checks for security violations, and provisions accounts without any additional user intervention.
