Liberty Corp. to Broadcast Its Second-Quarter Conference Call Live on the Internet

GREENVILLE, S.C. -- The Liberty Corporation (NYSE:LC) today announced that it will provide an online Web simulcast of its second-quarter conference call on Tuesday, August 2, 2005. The Company will release results for the second quarter and six months ended June 30, 2005, before the market opens on August 2.

The live broadcast of The Liberty Corporation's conference call will begin at 2:00 p.m. Eastern Time on August 2. An online replay will be available approximately two hours following the conclusion of the live broadcast and will continue through August 9, 2005.
