AMC Shakes up Super Agent 007 James Bond with ''THE COMPLETE BOND: 1962-1989,'' The Ultimate Destination for International Intrigue, Sexy Spies and High-Tech Gear

NEW YORK -- Month Long Movie Blitz Features Restored, Letterboxed Versions Of Each Film
The end of the summer sizzles when AMC presents 17 of the most popular 007 movies with THE COMPLETE BOND: 1962-1989. Featuring international intrigue, steamy locations and sizzling Bond girls, this month-long marathon begins with DR. NO (the film that launched the series), on August 8, and continues Monday through Friday in order through 1989's LICENSE TO KILL, on August 30.
AMC will air the full-screen versions of each movie at 8 PM ET/PT, followed by the fully restored, letterbox format immediately following and airing for the first time on television.
AMC spans three decades of Bond films spotlighting the "gentleman agent" who likes his martinis shaken not stirred, drives an Aston Martin and keeps company with the sexiest spies around. The films feature the talents of the original 007 Sean Connery, followed by George Lazenby, Roger Moore and Timothy Dalton, in addition to costars that include Kim Basinger, Ursula Andress, Maud Adams, Christopher Walken, and Benicio Del Toro.

--DR. NO (1962) - Her Majesty's Secret Service Agent 007 (Sean Connery) is sent to Jamaica to find Dr. No, a fanatical scientist who is implementing an evil plan of world domination. Co-stars Ursula Andress.
--FROM RUSSIA WITH LOVE (1963) - James Bond travels to Istanbul and is lured into a deadly trap as he searches for a decoding machine that can unlock Russian state secrets. Co-stars Lotte Lenya and Daniela Bianchi.
--GOLDFINGER (1964) - Featuring the famed Shirley Bassey theme song, this film finds James Bond tracking a gold smuggler who is set to destroy the world's economy. Co-stars Honor Blackman.
