Telkonet Expands International VAR Network Generating in Excess of $600,000 in Initial Orders
Business Wire, July 21, 2005
GERMANTOWN, Md. -- Telkonet, Inc. (AMEX:TKO), the leader in providing in-building broadband access over existing electrical wiring, has signed value-added reseller (VAR) agreements with four additional international resellers. Telkonet's resellers to date have generated initial orders in excess of $600,000.
Ron Pickett, CEO of Telkonet, said "Product certification training for our resellers continues as does our recruitment of quality strategic reseller partners. With the recent addition of these 4, we now have 9 VARs in 8 of the 25 member states of the EU. Our certified resellers are gaining sales traction in their respective markets as we anticipated they would. Telkonet's International market share potentially rivals the opportunity in the American market because traditional Internet connectivity using hard-wired (CAT-5) or wireless LAN technology is not always economically or technically feasible for the older building infrastructure. The Telkonet iWire System(TM) is ideal for deploying a secure, high-speed network in such challenging environments."
