Business Wire, July 25, 2005
DALLAS -- BancTec, Inc., a global provider of document and remittance processing solutions, announces the release of PayCourier(R) Check 21, an electronic check routing solution that offers clients ultimate ease of conversion to business operations in the Check 21 image exchange environment.
PayCourier Check 21 can be implemented as a standalone solution or seamlessly integrated into the existing BancTec PayCourier remittance solution. As a standalone system, PayCourier Check 21 interfaces with any legacy system, regardless of the institution's processing infrastructure.
PayCourier Check 21 is an economical solution that offers clients scalability and ease of conversion in the Check 21 image exchange environment. Developed for quick user implementation, PayCourier Check 21 imports images, converts data according to industry standards and routes images to image-enabled institutions. PayCourier Check 21 can establish an unlimited number of capture points and can present items to multiple exchange points after conversion.
PayCourier Check 21 includes an Image Replacement Document (IRD) module that allows users to produce IRDs that can be processed as substitute checks. It also utilizes Image Sentry, a BancTec image quality and usability tool that ensures all images are thoroughly tested for compliance with industry standards.
"By offering PayCourier Check 21, we have ensured that businesses, especially those using legacy systems, can leverage their existing systems for Check 21 image exchange," said Mark Fairchild, Senior Vice President, Global Products and Operations for BancTec. "For clients running BancTec PayCourier, OSA, 9500 or any other remittance processing system, PayCourier Check 21 offers a comprehensive and adaptable interface."
PayCourier Check 21 will be showcased at TAWPI in Baltimore from July 24-27, 2005 in the BancTec booth (No.303). BancTec will be demonstrating the solution along with its PayCourier remittance solution prior to being stored permanently in archive.
