Denver-Boulder Tops Forbes.Com's ''Best Cities for Singles'' List for the Second Consecutive Year; Pittsburgh Moves out of Last Place!

NEW YORK -- If you're looking for love, you might consider moving to the Denver-Boulder, Colorado area. Forbes.com named Denver-Boulder the No. 1 metro area for singles - for the second consecutive year - in its fifth annual ranking of America's "Best Cities For Singles." The list covers 40 of the largest metropolitan areas in the continental U.S. as defined by the U.S. Census. After three years in last place, Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania moved up to the 29th spot. In last place this year: Greensboro, North Carolina.
Criteria for the list include culture; job growth (with entry-level salaries factored in for the first time); nightlife; cost of living; singles' population and a city's "cool" factor. The top 10 cities for singles on this year's list are:
1. Denver-Boulder 6. Atlanta
2. Boston 7. Los Angeles
3. San Francisco 8. New York
4. Raleigh-Durham 9. Chicago
5. Washington-Baltimore 10. Seattle
