Business Wire, July 27, 2005
SALT LAKE CITY -- Proactive Network Management Corporation, a Salt Lake City-based network consulting firm with offices in Phoenix and Denver, today announced an agreement with BEA Systems (Nasdaq:BEAS) to resell the BEA WebLogic Enterprise Platform(TM), which includes the BEA WebLogic Server(TM), BEA WebLogic Integration(TM), BEA WebLogic Portal(TM), and BEA WebLogic Workshop(TM).
Proactive's system development and implementation expertise, as well as its established network in the Western United States, complements the existing BEA sales channel.
Proactive provides products designed to help enterprises deploy, integrate and support converged voice and data solutions. BEA provides the enterprise software foundation that is designed to help enable customers to benefit from service-oriented architectures (SOA) through greater re-use of IT assets, faster delivery of value to the business, and greater adaptability to support ongoing change.
As a BEA reseller, Proactive can help provide differentiated solutions designed to help customers save time and money by leveraging existing and future IT assets and provide access to information while helping to eliminate unnecessary complexity.
"Our relationship with BEA enhances our ability to provide our customers with a complete solution, helping us bridge the gap between their business and IT needs," said Proactive's president, John Dunn. "Many of our long-term customers are currently looking to adopt service-oriented architectures and we are proud to offer them BEA."
"We're pleased Proactive is expanding the reach of its solutions practice by reselling the BEA WebLogic Enterprise Platform," said Robert Ontiveros, senior vice president of Americas Channels and Alliances for BEA Systems. "Proactive's offerings complement the BEA application infrastructure software products and can help add value to better address the specific business requirements of our mutual customers."
