NCS Technologies and Progeny Partner to Provide Complete Custom Hardware and Linux Appliance Platforms to Independent Software Vendors

Business Wire,  July 27, 2005

INDIANAPOLIS -- Today Progeny announced a partnership with NCS Technologies, a provider of OEM appliance manufacturing services. Together, NCS and Progeny are well equipped to meet the growing demand for Linux-powered solutions in the appliance market. NCS will be a source of high-quality, custom hardware platforms and manufacturing services for Progeny's server appliance customers. Independent software vendors (ISVs) working with NCS will be able to bundle their applications with a custom Linux operating system built and maintained by Progeny.

By choosing NCS/Progeny's well-integrated server appliance solutions, ISVs can lower development costs, speed time to market, and improve quality by focusing on the application features and functionality that differentiate their offerings in the marketplace.
