Sonopress First to Install Automated Packaging Capabilities in Support of Nexpak®'s STACKpak™

ASHEVILLE, N.C. -- Multiple Disc Packaging Holds One to Six Discs; Sonopress to Install Two Lines at New Louisville Facility, Maintain Largest STACKpak Capacity in the U.S.

Sonopress LLC, a world leader in media services and turnkey production operations, today announced that it is the first company to install an automated packaging line for the STACKpak(TM) multiple disc packaging product from Nexpak(R). STACKpak offers a unique packaging solution that contains a stackable hub that can hold from one to six discs for the ultimate in packaging flexibility. The case also contains added security features to ensure that discs are held on the hub for optimal protection and enhanced applicability. From its new facility in Louisville, KY, Sonopress will utilize packaging equipment from Gima to be the first to offer automated STACKpak capabilities, and will produce as many as 100,000 packaged products per day on two automated packaging lines.
