PC-Doctor Diagnostics Software to Be Bundled on HP Desktop PCs

Under the renewed licensing agreement, PC-Doctor(R) diagnostics and system information software will be included on all HP Pavilion and Compaq Presario desktop PCs.

PC-Doctor software is a comprehensive hardware diagnostic and system information tool that can test the computer, determine its configuration and perform low-level, direct testing of the PC hardware.

With single-click efficiency, consumers gain access to interactive and non-interactive test routines, a DOS Module Container, third-party utilities, an online manual, and context-sensitive help functions to ensure that real and potential problems are detected quickly and easily. Detailed results are saved to a test log for easy reference by the end user and technical support engineers.

In addition, an alternative HTML-based user interface is available that provides greater functionality and improved ease of use without compromising the depth of PC-Doctor for Window's test and system information coverage. The interface displays an "Explorer" style view of available test functions and applies greater use of color, fonts, graphics and tables to make test information easier to interpret.
