Under the terms of this agreement, Atempo will resell Storactive's award-winning LiveBackup software through its worldwide distribution channel and to its current 2,300-plus customers. With this agreement Atempo further extends its best-in-class data protection portfolio, giving customers the ability to conduct real-time backup using Storactive's next generation CDP technology in addition to quick and secure files restoration from any given point in time using Atempo's Time Navigator(TM).

Storactive LiveBackup is the only client-server, real-time CDP software to deliver automatic data backup, reliable self-service file recovery and easy disaster recovery for Windows desktops and laptops. LiveBackup offers comprehensive system maintenance tools including System Rollback for rapid point-in-time recovery and bare metal restore for complete system restores from scratch. Storactive LiveBackup complements Atempo's data protection portfolio by integrating continuous data protection for desktops and laptops into enterprise backup architecture.
